Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Historically, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was taught in the gi. The majority of positions and techniques were originated in the gi. Our program balances fundamentals and modern approaches to Jiu Jitsu. We work to avoid dogmatic approaches in order to provide our students the most current approaches to grappling.  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, taught in the Gi is our largest program.

No Gi Submission Grappling

Submission grappling has rapidly evolved in recent times, and encompasses a variety of rules sets and organizations. In our program, we teach a comprehensive representation of submission grappling using the ADCC rule set. We integrate wrestling based take downs with traditional jiu jitsu ground work. As students progress, they will begin to learn the intricacies of the modern leg lock game. Our goal is to equip our students, whether hobbyist, competitive grappler or MMA fighter with the breadth of submission grappling techniques. We offer leg lock specific training on Friday evening.

Little Tigers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu-Ages 6-12

Children are unique physically and developmentally. In many ways, they can learn more easily than adults, and are physically far more flexible. We focus on teaching the art to kids in a developmentally appropriate way, all the while integrating the full range of Jiu Jitsu techniques. For children, our central goal is to improve their life skills, confidence and ability to deal with bullying situations effectively. We train your children to live safer, happier and more disciplined lives.

Children 8+ who are taller or significantly heavier than our current enrollees may attend TEEN or Adult  classes. Please have a conversation with our coaches if your child may need this accomodation.

Tiger Cubs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu-Ages 4-5

This class focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the art to smaller children. We integrate games and drills to help them to learn the basics of the art, all while augmenting their self-esteem and confidence. Our program seeks to equip children to avoid and deal with bullying situations. We recommend All kids try more than one class. As of October 2023, we have more 3 year olds than we can handle. We will update site when able to take additional 3 Year olds.
