1.

The hard decision, is to look for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School!

  • Prospective members are offered a one time 3 day trial. 

  • We will provide the Uniform for GI trial  classes

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early 

  • COMPLETE WAIVER

2.

What to wear.

  • Please wear shorts or leggings without pockets. They need to not slide off or down when you squat or move on the mats

  • Please wear crew neck shirt. Dry-fit type is better. When you join a rash guard will be required. 

  • Flip-Flops or Slides are easiest to wear at all times when you are not on the mats.

3.

Health and Hygiene 

  • Trim finger and toe nails. Long nails especially acrylic  are a hazard. 

  • Make sure hands and feet are clean. We will be laying where we walk on the mats.

  • Parents should inspect feet and hands. 

  • Please do not attend if you are ill. 

    • No Fever​

    • Cough

    • Uncovered wounds

4.

What to bring

  • Slide or Flip-Flops

  • Water bottle 

  • Mouth Guard Optional

  • Juveniles should bring adult to sign release and provide emergency contact

Safety

  • Facial and ear piercing(s) should be removed

  • High profile piercing(s) should be removed 

  • You may want to put long hair up to keep from tugging. 

  • Shoes anytime you are not on the mat

  • Communicate any visible or invisible limitations to instructors.

Once you make the decision to sign-up. Please bring Photo ID and method of payment. 

We do not have contracts, but we require 30 days FACE TO FACE  notification for Billing changes. 

7.

We do not require you buy your Gear from us.  What you need 

  • GI classes

    • Brazilian Jiu Jitsu GI.  We sell several brands. Our Team GI is Gameness. Karate or Judo GIs are not appropriate.

    • Dri fit shirt or Rash Guard under GI

    • Spats/Shorts/leggings  under your GI is Optional

  • NO GI classes​

    • Rash Guard. No T-shirts or tanks

    • Spats/Shorts/leggings or combo of leggings and shorts.
